Absolutely phenomenal job by Shawn and his team. From check-in to check-out this was an awesome stay. The place was clean and well kept and exceeded all of our expectations. The view was incredible and the whole experience was so over the top. Could not recommend anyone better for the area and/or the type of stay. Will definitely be booking again.

When we arrived, the host was already there around the property and welcomed us and endure everything went well within a few minutes of us arriving to the property. Very friendly host and absolutely loved the European theme to our property. The farm property was a wonderful added amenity: freshly laid eggs (of your picking) and highland cattle to get up close. The farm was beautiful and loved getting the chance to get up and close to the animals.

Incredible set up. Host didn't miss a trick. Snacks and gelato were a nice touch. Rooms could not have been better. Very comfortable beds. Technology was off the charts and easy to use. One of the best surprises I have had staying somewhere for the 1st time.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending an evening here as part of our 10 year anniversary. The living space/bedroom is designed for comfort and aesthetics, but also has all the practical needs. We got to get some fresh eggs out of the egg hall for breakfast. The gelato with local ingredients was a great touch! We enjoyed an evening and morning walk around the farm, enjoying sights like the pond/highland cows/green rolling hills. We highly recommend it!

I don’t know how anyone could not enjoy their stay here. The amenities are phenomenal, quite honestly I was amazed at how it seemed like they thought of everything, refreshments, lighting, plug-ins, technology, etc. It was clear they put a ton of thought into the space. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was a quick one, arriving late and leaving early, but we just needed a cozy little place to spend the night. We had never stayed in a tiny home before but this was absolutely perfect for what we needed. If you're planning on staying for days, or you like spending a lot of time in your room, Shawn has other beautiful listings available on his property that might be a better fit for you, but if you're staying one night or just need a place to leave your stuff and to sleep, this literally couldn't have been more perfect. The farm itself was gorgeous and we loved seeing all of the animals! Shawn also offers a highland cow experience that you can book that we highly recommend (Little One was our favorite cow that we met and we loved Jack Jack the donkey and his two girlfriends!) The experience wraps up with coffee and gelato and I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that this gelato was life-changing and we literally haven't stopped thinking and talking about (and craving) it.

This was our 2nd time booking Shawn’s place and we will be back again when we visit Knoxville. The barndo is beautiful and clean, and the surroundings are very relaxing. We stay in a lot of Airbnbs and this is probably our favorite. If you are visiting Knoxville or have students at UT, it’s a short drive and SO MUCH BETTER than a hotel. Great hosts & great place!

Shawn was a great host! He gave recommendations for local businesses to patronize, communicated well, and the Fish House was exactly as described. I loved watching the cows graze while sitting on the deck for my morning coffee. Definitely recommend staying here - just wish I had additional time to try out the highland cow experience or UPick sunflowers

Our family enjoyed the peaceful, bucolic setting of Cedar Pond Farm with the opportunity for our grandchildren to experience life on a farm. Seeing cows and donkeys in the pasture and gathering eggs from the henhouse were just two of the highlights. The farm is also close enough to White Water rafting opportunities to add some excitement. Perfect place for a family gathering!

My wife and I stayed for one night and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s across the world and never stayed in such an accommodative rental. Beautiful location. Very responsive and attentive host. 10/10. We’ll be back in the future.
